is this triphop enough?

lol, im having second thougths here, but tell im the following qualifies as triphop, ok?:

1. recoil: the liquid and unsound methods cd's are really into triphop, right? i get the same feeling that i get from a portishead record everytime i listen to them
2. gorillaz: ok, ok... now start throwing rocks at me :P. I dig a few songs, it feels like it, doesn't it?
3. frou frou: im guessing they're more of a chillout sound than downtempo or triphop, but still is worth a try ;)

i also would like to ask you what kind of music beth orton is? i read her name in the best female voices poll or something like that. I've alredy heard some of the tracks in daybreaker and it sounds like the BESTEST pop music ever ;)

any other suggestions?

also, if anyone of you has the chance, try ely guerra's "yo no", "tengo frio", "abusar" or maybe "mejor me voy". She's one of the greatest mexican singers and the lotofire album (her latest, altough is like 3 years old) has a very nice vibe on it
