Chungking/Silverman/808 State
Chungking - Brighton UK bands debut release, We Travel Fast is a winner! Gorgeous and ethereal, yet a little quirky. Think Goldfrapp, Portishead. I am finding myself really drawn in by this one already.

Silverman - English dreampop outfit who I am just becoming familiar with on their 3rd (and presumably strongest) release. It reminds me a bit of another Auralgasms favorite, Daughter Darling. I heard their track Ctrl Alt Del, on the new Blisscent II compilation (which is wonderful...BUY IT!) and I was sold.

808 State - Longtime kings of the Acid House club scene, they have taken lately to having guests such as Bernard Sumner, Bjork, and Manic Street Preachers. This time around, the names aren't quite as large (Elbow, Simian), but the beats are unmistakably theirs. Outpost Transmission is their newest release, and while some of the more upbeat tracks may be the instrumentals, that is hard to convey in a 30 second sample. So, hopefully you will enjoy these two as well.
