grand tone music (baxter)
the new grand tone music (gtm) album, go to hell, is out and it's amazing... but what's truely amazing is how much of a baxter influence there is... obviously the voice is the same (duh) but this album really has a poppy feel to it, like baxter... take the pop sensibilities of baxter's about this with the song crafting of gtm's new direction and there you have it... i'm sure the fact that it was mixed by carl-michael herl?fsson as much to do with this too... i'd say only a couple of songs don't have a baxter feel to it (one being the first single, become whatever, so don't judge it on that track, although it's quit good as well)...
obviously gtm hasn't changed so much that's i'd consider it trip-hop, but the baxter influences are remarkable... it's really a fantsastic album...
