too much
Alright...I'm sure I'm not the only person here...but here goes...
A few months back I started this downloading rampage where I was downloading an album a day. Didn't really listen to the albums...just downloaded them. Whatever really got my attention, I'd listen to...everything else..just sits on my hard drive...
Then I stopped, realized I had about 30 albums, and I couldn't remember a melody or chorus for pretty much any of them. I was at the point where I was just getting stuff just to have it. It wasn't about expanding my knowledge...but just my mp3 library. It wasn't benefitting me. So now, I'm still trying to absorb everything I got, but I feel so overwhelmed because of all the music I downloaded.
So I just felt I had to share my experience with you fellow trip hoppers, and don't let this happen to you. So I say, don't get carried away with having all the newest tracks or albums from every trip hop band you can find...be a fan...love your music...and if you can, support the artist!
