Muggs - DJ Muggs of Cypress Hill has released a surprising and wonderful solo debut. Dust is a genre-hopping gem, with vocal contributions from Greg Dulli of Afghan Whigs, Josh Todd of Buckcherry, Everlast and Amy Trujillo.

Tricky - After releasing the compilation Ruff Guide to Tricky last year, we are finally graced with a new studio release. It seems much more natural than Blowback. Although a nice change of pace, too many guest vocalists seemed to be covering something up. Tricky has gotten his mojo back though, and has stuck with just one female singer (and himself), the gorgeous voice of Constanze Francavilla. He has thrown in in a couple of covers for good measure, The Cure's Lovecats, and XTC's Dear God. Although Anti-Matter is the first single, it was Car Crash that really stood out for me.

Halou - San Francisco based dreampop outfit has been hiding for quite a while now. A New EP is on the way, and if it sounds anything like A Ratio Of Freckles To Stars, then count me in!
