Goldfrapp - The Long awaited 2nd release is finally here. Felt Mountain won Alison Goldfrapp a legion of fans with its quirky atmospheric sound, and Black Cherry is sure to excite them all and win a whole new throng of fans. A bit more fleshed out sound, and more up front vocals.

Ian McCulloch - The frontman of 80s Pop-Goth band Echo and the Bunnymen has seen the popularity of his band spiral during their recent comeback albums. Few even seemed to notice their last release, The disappointing, Flowers. Even less probably took note of his INCREDIBLE solo debut, Candleland, and its follow-up Mysterio. After many years, Ian is back on the solo tip, with Slideling. What I have heard so far sounds terrific. Not a throwaway track to be found. Throw in some cameo work from Chris Martin of Coldplay for good measure....

Erlend Oye - A bizarre but wonderful solo debut from 1/2 of The Kings Of Convenience. Unrest marries modern minimalist pop of The Notwist and Postal Service with 80s synth of the white boy soul variety, a la The Blue Nile, Style Council, A-ha, and The Beloved.
