copyprotection on massive attack :I
i'm wondering what do the members of this board think of copyprotections? i just walked on by the record store on my way to work, and noticed at the window, that massive attack's album has a copyprotection in it. now i'm thinking if i should by that album at all, cause in my opinion those copyprotections are nothing but harm to the people who by cd's, since they don't work in many places. i'm gonna be using a dvd player as my cd-player very soon, cause i'm gonna get rid of the shitty mini-stereo's i have, so i can't really be sure, that 100th window will work in the future when cd-player is gone. that really sucks.
...and after all: any professional pirate, against whom the copyprotections are (yeah right), don't give a shit about them. they can copy the albums just like they always did and sell them in russia or where ever they wish. wonder why i see more and more cd's with those technologies. people will only buy more pirated cd's and forget about the real one's, cause they won't work.. :(
