Kosheen/Muki/Flunk
Flunk - From the chill-out realm, comes this new disc. The aptly titled, Music For Sleepyheads. It's a good wind-me-down post club night album. Led by a mellow take on New Order's Blue Monday, this is a good album for any chill-out fans. Singer Anji recalls Beth Orton or Dido.

Muki - Kind of an oldie...their last album, Quiet riot has released about 2 and half years ago. I am just now hearing it. My first listen was I Don't want to Know, and I was expecting a folky-techno album, but by the time I was done, I felt more like i had lsitened to St Germain or Zero 7. The instrumentals were upbeat and funky. I personally would have been happy to have more songs like I Dont Want to Know, but it's still a good pick up if you can find it.

Kosheen - Where else, but from Bristol? This drum and bass outfit hit huge on the dance scene with Hide U. THeir debut full length, Resist, features Hide U, and a hum-in your-head-all-day track called Catch. The songs are quite pop, and that may turn some off, but if its your thing, then this is for you.

Delgados - Scottish folk/pop-rock group alternating vocals between Alun and Emma. Their latest, Hate, has been on several year end best lists. From what I've heard so far, it seems to be a good one! Judge for yourself. I had a heck of a time coming up with Related Artists for this one, so I had to defer to what other sites say. Im not too familar with some of them (Mogwai, Arab Strap), so I tried some of omy own. Any Delgados fans...PLEASE let me know some good ones and I'll change it.
