Massive Attack - Wow! What needs to be said? The absolute undisputed kings of the genre. Their latest CD, 100th Window brings another slew of guests. Sinead O' Connor, Mos Def, Damon Albarn...It's been a long time, since Mezzanine, and 100th Window is finally here! I've added 2 new samples, and for once the single is not the best track.

Sneaker Pimps - The pimps keep you on your toes. Their debut release gave us one of trip-hop's legendary tracks with 6 Underground. Shortly after, Kelli Dayton was ousted and replaced with Chris Comers, giving the band a whole different sound. Their 2nd Cd, Splinter, and their latest, Bloodsport, never reached the popularity of Becoming X, but critics and fans have adored them. I have added a sample from Bloodsport and a 2nd sample from Splinter.

Petracovich - Received this presskit in the mail a couple of weeks ago, and was trying to decide in which update to present it, when I noticed some buzz this morning on some newsgroups about them. Featuring Jessica Peter's soft spoken vocals, Blue Cotton Skin seems to have struck a chord.

Collette Carter - I first heard of this group (not a person!) from their great track, M-Flo from the Blisscent I Compilation. This led me to further discover their debut, The New Stroboscopic. If you, like me, are a fan of female led-synth, al la St Etienne, or Stereolab, you are sure to enjoy this record.

Zero 7 - I should have featured this critic and fan favorite long ago, but it somehow kept slipping under my radar, until I was reminded, by their inclusion on some year end best lists. Their chill-out classic, Simple Thing, is over a year old now, but more recently, they have offered Another Late Night, an excellent compilation of their remixes.
