I'm new, anyone you recommend?

Hey, i have just gotten into Portishead and Massive Attack in the past month or two. I dont know much about the bands that i saw listed and i looked them up but i was wondering if you had any choice bands i should look into more deeply. Its hard when there are so many choices. From knowing those two bands could you make any suggestions? Some of my other favorites...not trip hop...are the pixies, karate, the sea and cake, ben folds five, and death cab for cutie....and bob dylan.
