Hi, thought I'd start a thread for songs you love and think other people probably haven't heard.... I'm into female vocal broken-beat triphoppy stuff..

Not triphop, those two are loungy pop-hip-hop with a woman singing. Kind of upbeat, but still chilled.

EXCELLENT track, orchestral triphop
DJ Tiesto feat. Kirsty Hawkshaw - Battleship Grey
Tiesto normally does trance but this is triphop. Decent track.
Fac 15 feat Cathy Ogden - Rainy Days and Mondays
Cover of an old Carpenters tune, of all things. Very downbeat, laid back.
Silent Poets feat. Kirsty Hawkshaw - Where The Sidewalk Ends
Awesome track from instrumental hiphoppers from Japan. Slow, trippy hiphop beats with Kirsty over the top.

Breakbeat jazzy electronic stuff, not triphop. I find the singer sings with more emotion than most - she doesnt sing in that annoying lounge-jazz style that a lot of groups do, she just sings the song.
