Kaluun was born in 2002 when St?phane (guitar), Laurence (bass) and Caroline (Fender Rhodes, sampling) met. They were all fond of Anglo-Saxon pop, Trip Hop, electronic and rock music.

The band came to be what it is now in 2004 when J?r?me (drums) and Delphine (vocals) joined the setup. With these arrivals, all the elements came together to create musical harmony.

Kaluun's world is a mixture of haunting and intense atmospheres, generated by the melodies of Caroline's Rhodes piano and Delphine's ethereal voice and intense English lyrics. All of this is punctuated by vibrant and overwhelming flurries coming from the fusion of Laurence's and J?r?me's rhythmical energy and St?phane's furious custom guitar.

Their unique style, which they define as ?Power Trip Hop?, reminds one of influences such as Portishead, Morcheeba or Radiohead.
