Anja Garbarek - Briefly shaking

It's that time again, Anja's coming out with another album on her four-year cycle. Whereas her last album, "smiling & waving" from 2001 was minimalistic and jazzed-down, the new project (in collaboration with Gisli) is in her own words "dark and pompous". A couple enthusiastic reviews are already out, beating the formal release on Sept. 26th here in Norway.

For those new to the works of Anja Garbarek, she's the daughter of saxophonist Jan Garbarek, and has three previous albums on her contience, "Velkommen Inn" (which is not that great), "Baloon Mood" (which IS great), and "Smiling & Waving" (ditto).
