new trip hop band from los angeles "8mm"

hi everyone, we just discovered this site last night! we can't believe we never googled trip hop before! anyway we wanted to tell you about our band "8mm". we are a husband and wife duo in los angeles and we are just starting to play out. it's just us and a laptop for now and we are playing at the knitting factory's Alterknit lounge on feb. 8th at 8pm in hollywood.
we have an e.p. titled "opener" out which is available on our website
www.8mmaudio.com and on itunes etc.
there are lots of photos on our site, and all the ep's songs stream as you look through the site. we would really appreciate your checking us out and any comments you might make on our forum. we have friends from all over the world there who are very interesting and are probably members here as well. we also have a site on myspace.com. www.myspace.com/8mm and we have a remix as well as a few of the songs available to listen to along with alot of really great comments from our friends there.
people have been so cool to us and we would love to be a part of this community as well. we are a real indie band in that our ep is self released so we have no industry pressure and just do what we want.
we love trip hop and wanted to do something that sounded like a cross between an american portishead and a david lynch movie. we hope you like it.
