Ahh... Why can't I find what I'm looking for!?

Hello everyone, this is my first post and I hope to stick around for a while. I'm just recently getting into trip-hop, and am stuck. I love Tricky, everything he does is awesome, same with Massive Attack. Goldfrapps a favorite as well as Lamb and Bj?rk if you'd like to considr her trip-hop. I'm looking for a certain sound I just can't find. I'm into very dark music, and that's just what I want a dark, dense masterpiece. I think vocals are important to music, and so this dream sound has vocals - a female with a distinct, powerful and unique voice that doesn't follow the standard rules; or a male voice that is ugly, rough and also unique.

This seems to be describing Tricky, and I guess basically I'm looking for more like him, but an artist with a distinct sound that is not simply a rehash of Tricky's stuff or just sounds the same.
