Sneaker Pimps
When Liam Howe and Chris Corner saw Kelly Dayton once sing in a bar, they quickly decided to form the Sneaker Pimps. Their first single "Tesko Suicide" in may 1996 it was greeted with positive reviews in the UK music press. Their debut album "Becoming X" was released in 1996 and it was a critical success. Then they spent 18 month of exhausting touring. Their next LP, with Kelly Dayton replaced by Chris Corners Vocals, was "Splinter", which took just one year to produce and was born from a period of terrible frustration with so world and the music industry, so it sounds much darker than "Becoming X". Now they split from their former label One Little Indian and signed to the label Tommy Boy in the mid of 2001, where they will release their third LP, wich is entitled "Bloodsport", in January 2002.
