Dido

I guess Everyone of you have heard Dido some time before, even its been only on Eminem's song "Stan", where he sampled her song "Thank You", or in some Faithless Songs. Her conection to Faithless is quite prfound, since she is the sister of Faithless member Rollo, who also produced most songs on her 1999 debut album "No Angel" Dido Armstrong started to play the piano and the violin at the young age of 10. At the time of 16 she started singing with several London bands and later contributed her voice to her brother's band "Faithless" in 1995 and toured with them for 2 years. During this time she always worked on own songs, and in 1997 she finally got her record deal at arista records and began to record her debut album "No Angel". Now she's getting the pubilcity and acknowledgement she diserved, and I'm sure this is just the beginning of a great career, because everbody just has to love her songs and gets addicted once you heard it for the first time.
