Crustation

Crustation is one of the younger bands in this genre and quite unpopular. But they dont have to fear to be compared with Portishead. They are also gloomy and sometimes depressing but not as dark as Portishead are. They have much more strings in there songs and the great voice of the singer Bronagh Slevin makes you drifting away into the higher spheres of dreams. The Career of the trio of producers began with signing at the Bristol label "Cup of Tea" which has been the label of bands like Monk & Canatella, Statik Sound System and others. Then they got a major record deal at Jive records and recorded their debut album "Bloom" (97) and also their last cd together with the singer Bronagh Slevin.
