Cooldown

Fronted by the exotic Miss Benny, they debuted in early 1999 with the smoky downtempo flavors of the 'Ether' EP (Map Records). Benny is backed by a stunning eight piece live band that melds the electronics of Cooldown's recorded output with an amazing live funk feel. Led by keyboardist/mixer Michael Balch (formerly of Front Line Assembly) and producer of her new record, the band provides a vibrant and rich base of melodic sonics over which Benny projects her angelic voice and energetic stage presence. The new record scheduled for completion in March 2001 will foray further into the world of electronica/pop. It should prove to be a unique and exciting release.
