Coldfinger

Coldfinger are a portuguese project composed by Margarida Pinto & Miguel Cardona (formely in the band Blasted Mechanism). Their music can be described as something as a cross between trip hop & tiny bits of jazz melodies, standing together with a sublime voice, such as Margarida's. They came out together to the music scene in 1999 with their first release, "EP 0.1", containing 5 tracks, one of them sang in portuguese. After receiving an huge support from fans & press, they continued touring all over the country, showing their potencial, live. The first album, though, only came in 2000, "Lefthand", & did not disappoint anyone, there's perfectly shown an incredible evolution in their sound. Although it's a bit "dark" sound, it absolutely is one of the best records on that music area.
