Bergman
The Spanish extraordinary artist Bergman who had already received exellent reviews for his first LP by both national and international media, he took now a big step further and released his second CD called "inner". I have to admit that I've expreienced serious problems of selcting the 4 or 5 best and most representative tracks from this record, since each track is equally great. With "Inner" he penetrated even further into the depth of feeling, beyond the electronic currents, where affection and ornamentation do not exist, if not real emotions which express themselveswith hypnotic melodies from velvety voices, in a chromatic sea of harmony overcome by a profound and multicolour sadness, like the lyrics which exclude desire. Begman didn't simply relied on samples, but worked together with the prague symphony orchestra for the rich and awesome orchestration, so that his sound could even be compared to the alternative pop of Craig Armstrong or Bjork. He three worked together with three female vocalists for this record: the so far undiscovered singer Xesca Fort, the Astrian model Uma Ursula Pietch and Andrea Thiele from Germany.
